  • About Me
Wyoming based writer and nature enthusiast, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing. I have worked as a high school English teacher at a college preparatory school, and a magazine where I gained valuable insight and experience telling stories.

In 2015, I started Clear Wind Publishing (clearwindpublishing.com) and have worked with many authors on a wide range of creative and research writing projects. Over the last 12 years, my work as a freelance writer and in publishing proves to be my most rewarding experiences. As a ghostwriter, I love helping authors create professional and inspirational manuscripts.

It’s not surprising that my favorite words are kaleidoscopic and momentum because those are the words I would use to describe myself. And I have two life mottos: Do it now & Do what scares you. While for me this would include swimming with sharks (which I don’t plan on), I think doing what scares you is the only way to stretch and grow so that’s what I do . . . I do what terrifies me and often, in the process, I discover what I love, like writing.

  1. New York Write to Pitch is the only conference any serious writer should attend. Michael and his team expertly guided us into the world of fiction, while helping us understand the industry so we know what is selling and not selling and what is a high concept idea versus a middle concept (and why they matter). I couldn’t have asked for a kinder group of passionate writers to learn and laugh alongside each other. The NYC Pitch team was professional and honest in their feedback, and the opportunity to pitch to editors in person was invaluable. I highly recommend this conference to any serious writer. Thank you, New York Pitch!
