Dean Kropp had plans to play baseball, but fate changed those plans as Kropp headed into the kitchen to become a pastry chef and chef for movie stars on sets. During his career, he competed in culinary competitions winning some gold medals in pastry. This set him on his path to discovering the Culinary Olympics where he competed in 1996 in Berlin, Germany while being pastry chef consultant and team coordinator between New York and Berlin.
Making cream puffs and eclairs wasn’t the only test that Kropp had to conquer. Two separate car accidents knocked him out of his career in 2000 and 2004. This was another eye-opening experience as Kropp found out that he had no rights to heal his injuries after getting injured by no fault of his own. When a person is admitted into the hospital, the first paper that they are served is with the Hospital Bill of Rights. During this time, Kropp was also audited by the IRS. A complicated situation for sure. Again, Kropp was issued the Taxpayers’ Bill of Rights. These two documents stressed that if the person was treated in an unfair manner, they could complain about it. When Kropp was injured in the car accidents, there was no issuing of a Bill of Rights for people injured in a car accident, as he was left injured on the side of the road with no path of recovery revealed at all.
As part of his rehabilitation process, Kropp went back to the Big Apple Chapter Chefs’ Association to produce the monthly newsletter. It was there that he learned about four books that floated across the Atlantic Ocean in the 1960s and ended up getting donated to the CIA. It was in those books that the history of the Culinary Olympics was intertwined with food stories and recipes dating back by about 100 years and beyond.
Subsequently, Kropp had received a fax from the German Chefs’ Association in 1992 that outlined the history of the Culinary Olympics. This information coupled with the four books from the CIA, that’s the Culinary Institute of America, and Kropp’s experience in the kitchen combined to set him on his path of writing the book about how the Culinary Olympics started in 1900, Frankfurt, Germany.

  1. Please take your pick for titles. But what really happens to people that get injured by no fault of their own under the State of New York's No Fault Laws that just happened to have left this pastry chef severely injured on the roadside. Have you ever been sued and had an IRS audit nearly at the same time? Probably not, I'm guessing. The pinch point here is getting injured and thinking that I had car insurance to cover my injuries. The plot point is; that didn't happen. Are you brave enough to get into the PDF attachment to find out what happened? bonetopick 11.pdf
