I earned a Master’s degree in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Frostburg State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Information Technology Program Management from National Defense University. After two years' worth of Sundays and late nights laboring away in my basement office, I recently published my debut women's fiction novel, CHARCUTERIE GIRL. A member of the Women's Fiction Writers Association, I balance my passion for writing with a career in Information Technology Program Management for the federal government. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, boating, and playing frisbee with my hyper border collie. A lifelong Marylander, I grew up along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and continue to live in Maryland with my fiancé, son, and crazy dog. My short stories have appeared in The Washington Post.
